Marshall's Florist & Gifts

St. Patrick's Day is a bright Spot in Mud Season

In New England, March can be the end of winter and the beginning of mud season...or just more winter. Either way, nothing beats the winter/mud season "blues" better than fresh flowers to remind us of the coming spring. After Valentine's Day, the next holiday to use as an excuse to visit your local florist is St. Patrick's Day. Affordable green carnations and green and white arrangements featuring Bells of Ireland and green hypericum berries are very popular flowers for celebrating this holiday where everyone is Irish. St. Patrick may have driven the snakes from Ireland, but nothing works better to drive the winter blues away than a visit to a florist and a fresh bunch or flowers or a handcrafted arrangement. St. Patrick's Day is Sunday, March 17th, so put on your green attire and come visit Marshall's Florist for your green carnations and arrangements!
